PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK BUDGET
Beyond been the medium for the exchange of goods and services, money also serves as the measure for quantifying rewards and success. Money, like they say, comes with its own power. It is this power which unconsciously determine our response or reaction to money.
Well, so you’ve decided you want to stop being a slave to the cost of day-to-day spending that leaves you impoverished and hoping for the next pay cheque. Then, a big congrats ahead. But, it all starts with you. What do you see through your minds eye?
If the truth must be told, what you earn that’s hardly enough and unable to take you comfortably through the next pay cheque, has redeemed a good number of people out of the financial doldrums. I don’t need to give you the figures. This is a fact.
How? It starts with planning. You can’t have all the things at all the time. Some discipline has to come in –and of course, some sacrifice. Ever heard the word SLAVERY? Yes. That’s the picture you depict every time you depend on your monthly –daily or weekly–pay cheque to redeem you out of those ever increasing lists of human wants.
Note that I used the word WANT. Often times, WANTS are not NEEDS. You are the one who sets out to earn your own money. You know what it is you want to achieve with it. Is your money meeting up to that expectation? If it isn’t, why? What could you do?

When you set out to earn, do you have in mind just to meet up with day to day expenses; or do you have the big picture in mind? There was no dream goal, or career objective. So we end up being slave to the pay cheque or better put as Paycheck To Paycheck .
Again, everything starts with the mind.
. A simple suggestion would be: to earn with the aim of saving or investing towards accomplishing a project.
Robert Kiyosaki in his book CASHFLOW QUADRANTS, while explaining the four paths to financial freedom –employee, self-employed, business owner and investor –stated that wealth can be created in any four of these quadrants. Wealth creation in this context then would mean not living pay cheque to pay cheque.
